Re: Microwave oven transformer - tube coil
Re everyone.
I would like to thank everyone else that made suggestions to me also. Its
really great that everyone is so helpful.
I do have some questions already. I would like to use some pretty large
tubes (such as the 805's used in Brents tube coil). I think they look very
impressive. My question is what other types of tubes are large like the
805's? I have no tube manual with that information. I only have the
pinouts... Fair Radio Sales have many tubes, but of the 80x series, I see
803's, 807's, 809's, 832's, 836's, and 837's... Any suggestions?
Also, in the same catalog, they have a transformer 120 primary, 2600V -at-
120mA secondary. It is also tapped... Would this be a good transformer to
utilize in a coil system?
Any advise is, as always, much appreciated.
Brad
