Yuk! I had a bit better luck with melting milk jugs on a diffuser
(sold as a substitute for a double boiler in gourmet shops) it didn't
turn yellow but bubbles were still a problem. The use of a vacuum
should eliminate the bubbles. When you try again let me know how it
works out, unless I try it first in which case I'll let you know.
