You say you want to amplify power? Do you mean increase voltage? The
power you get out of a Tesla coil is always going to be less than you
put in, though the voltage out can be enormous. What do you need,
electrically, for your water purification and are you sure a Tesla
coil is what you need?
The FCC would object to anything that creates a lot of radio inter-
ference, if somebody noticed it and complained. Tesla coilers use
separate dedicated ground rods (like the main grounding rod for a
house, but separate from it) and if the right parts of the Tesla
system are grounded, the radio interference can be made very small.
Regarding powering remote devices, I'd expect a Tesla coil to be
an awkward and unsatisfactory method, although N. Tesla tried to
make it work a long time ago. Depends what kind of devices; in most
cases there'd be easier ways to power them.
