Surplus Center 800-488-3407 has variable speed DC motors 1 & 2 hp, 0-5000
rpm, with speed controller which runs on 120vac. Just right for your taig
micro lathe or your flying squirrel brand mini drill press which is
woefully under-powered! Should work great for adding vs to any power tool,
and the DC motor is much better speed regulated with varying torque than
the average motor...
