I've got a 10Kv 10ma ingnition xfrmr and need a 0.0032uF rating to resonate
and want to build one of my own. I have been told that flat stacked
capacitors work best at this lower capacitance and I need to know how thick
the insulating material is and how many layers to use. I would like to be
able to use it on higher voltage xfrmrs when I get some so the voltage needs
to be around 20Kv. Also I have a 2Kv microwave xfrmr and I have been told to
use a 0.90uF capacitor rated at 2500v. I thought this was a bit large but I
don't know the current it gives.
