Hi. I have made a small coil using a 2 ft and 1.5 diameter pipe. I use
wine bottle capacitor and a 120 primary and 9000 volt secondary side. I am
getting no discharge

To mystery coiler (please include your name next time):
Are your spark gaps firing? If not, your capacitor may be shorted. What kind
of gaps are you using? 5 or 6 1.5" diameter copper pipe sections spaced .015"
to .025" apart with air blowing through them would work well. Is your wine
bottle covered in foil or is it in a salt water solution with oil on the top?
Please provide more details on the construction. Exact specs of both primary
and secondary. How do you have the primary components connected? Is the
bottom of the secondary grounded?
