I am concerned about the heat developed in both the primary and secondary
coils of my tube coil. They are wound on PVC pipe forms. The secondary
has no. 28 magnet wire. I was thinking the shellac I covered everything
with may be a lossy material (I used "bull's eye" brand clear sealer and
varnish). Any comments on this as a coating product? Thanks.
