I have a 220V 500W angle grinder that runs at 11000 RPM. I want to build
a speed control for it. Somewhere I heard I need to vary the voltage of the
fixed winding and keep using full voltage for the rotating ones.

Has anybody of you got more precise instructions or even a schematic diagram?

Why I didn't buy an angle grinder with speed control? Because it would have
costed over $100. This rubbish I have got (new) costed $20 and I think should
last enough if you think of its use as a RSG.
