you'll lose more energy due to resistance in the higher amps tranny.  
It's just like how voltage is stepped up fore transmision and then 
stepped down w/ a pole pig for use.  However w/ higher voltage caps will 
cost more dough in addition to the tranny it's self being more 
expensive.  So I guess it performance vs. Cost.
