Thanks Ed. I think another NST is in the works. Being a new coiler, I
didn't realize you could use bigger caps than the programs I'm using
recommend. So bigger caps won't affect the NST's? I didn't think they'd
charge properly if they were over rated.

Good point, the .05 uf cap is too large for a 120 ma supply. I originally did
use a .025 uf cap on my 6" coil with a 12kv, 120 ma supply and it worked very
well. I ran this set up with .01uf, .02 uf and .025 uf caps (all
individually) and it performed best with the .025 uf cap. I did not try a .05
uf cap with this supply.
