Marco,
The smaller toroid is mounted directly on to the top of the secondary and is
connected to the top lead wire - just standard mounting and connection for a
single toroid. The spacer that is made of an open cylinder of aluminum
flashing (that is riveted together - or just tape works fine) then sits on
top of the first toroid with the second toroid sitting on top of that. The
aluminum cylinder acts both as a spacer and means of electrical connection
between the two.
