Allright. Here is what to do if you want to experiment with a strap
primary. It will take a little work. Get a 25' roll of 3/4" soft copper
tubing. You will need at least this length for the average thin wire
wound secondary that most coilers use. Unroll it successivily while
flattening it out with a mallet onto a solid wood block. The tube begins
to bend perfectly as you flatten it out. We did this with a 10' length
of 3/4" copper soft tube for our two turn primary. It works great! Tip:
Use a short, fat secondary with the two loop primary. You can do this
with one $15.00 roll of a 500 foot spool of #14ga. solid Thhn coated
wire, applied to a 12" cardboard concrete form cut to a height of 20".
