No hospital would let you operate a Tesla Coil anywhere near their grounds.
As you've surmised, it would put many millions of dollars in equipment at
risk, but more important are the people attached to that equipment!!
Bringing a Tesla Coil to any officially sanctioned event is tricky, and will
require A LOT of money and preparation spent on safety equip and things that
you would not need if you were just showing it off to friends in your
garage. Ask the pros.
