Re: Hall effects probe
A hall effect probe is a slice of semiconductor with two connections
stuck on the end of a probe. When a current is passed through it along
one axis, placing it in a magnetic field causes a voltage to be produced
across its other axis, originally discovered by a Mr Hall.
