I have access to a bank of 61 480VAC 55microF caps.
Placing them in series gives me .90164 uF -at-29kV.
However this value (.9uF) is quite large for use with a
NST (12kV -at- 60mA 50Hz). Is it possible to use them?
They are in aluminum cans similar to an electrolytic except
specifically states 480VAC. My guess they will be very
lossy at high frequency. Comments welcome.
