Hi Steve

It is clear from your formula for the inductance of a flat spiral coil that
you are using N(W + S) for the width . Remember if you have N turns, then
there are N - 1 spaces between the turns. For this reason your expressions
for the width and inductance are inaccurate. I will be happy to correspond
on expressions for inductance off list.
