Working on the basis that there's plenty of water (with minerals in it)
in a tree, yes it would be a conductor at TC voltages.

HOWEVER, pine trees contain resin and that resin contains
volatile/flammable turpentine.  If your coil/anciliaries/garage/you are
fireproof, I would think that you would be in for an interesting display
of pyrotechnics.

Summary: possible - maybe; safe - no...
