Any high school physics text and most dictionaries will have the info you
want. Actually these are not conversions like feet to cm or lbs to kg. They
are prefixes which carry the same meaning no matter what is being measured.
micro u 0.00000l = 1/ million 10^ -6
nano n 0.000000001 = 1/ 1000 million 10^ -9
pico p 0.000000000001 = 1/ million million 10^ -12
