Re: Regulated Magnet Wire?

Hi all,
Tesla Coiling is not going to be threatened by silly laws aimed at keeping
stupid kids from blowing things up. Thin magenet wire may be esential for
making small letter bombs, but just as with any other esential products
for our industrial society, will still be available. Even after the
Oklahoma City Federal building bombing, Nitro Methane and Ammonium Nitrate
are still readily available, even sold together as binaries. My friend
Daniel sells this stuff by the ton. See:
http://www.skylightexplosives-dot-com/index.html
Up untill two years ago I could by HE and caps without a license for
personal use (like blowing Beaver dams, stumps, etc.), as long as I used
it the same day, ie., don't store it. This is still ok by Federal BATF
regulations, see:
http://www.atf.treas.gov/explarson/fedexplolaw/qanda.pdf
Only the Oregon State Legislature changed the wording making it less clear
;-(
Even the FCC will not go after Tesla Coils, unless someone complains...
But this could allways change, Democracy is only as good as the people
who participate.
Regards and Safe & Legal Tesla coiling,
David Trimmell
