But I was surprised to see your coil doing its thing in your living room.
I tried that once. Net discovery? They make lousy floor lamps!!!!!
Someday consider using an LTR cap and the Metlicka Trigger gap. It beats a
static gap by a mile and I speak from expereince.
If you do, your arc length might really go the distance although it's not
too shabby now :))

I just posted a bunch of pics of my 6 inch system
running with a static gap, .01uf pulse cap and single
12/60 France NST and outputting up to 43 inches of
spark. Eventually, I will probably get around to
adding a little bit of organization and info to the
page, but as for now it is merely a directory. I
would rather spend my time doing science than
web-authoring, although I may get around to it
someday.
