Once it's done, you'll wonder why you ever considered building anything
else.
If I sound really "pro" t-gap it's because I am.
I just brought my coil home from the haunted house.
I haven't calculated the ON time b ut it was significant I can tell you.
And the coil took it all in stride..ho hum.
My biggest challenge? Cleaning a month's worth of DUST off the coil, the
primary, the wood...yuch!
No one ever vacuums a haunted house :))

Ted,
Yeah, I'm planning on stopping my AutoZone to pick up
a few c834 coils. One of them will be for the
Metlicka gap. I have plenty of capacitors sitting
around as well. I have two .01uf 20KV commercial
pulse caps and one .02uf 40kv commercial cap, plus a
.0066uf mmc. I guess I could try the gap with .0266uf
with my 12/60 and be pretty close to optimum LTR.
