It really all depends on the dielectric material used in construction of
the cap. Mylar is common, and no good for TC service. Can you give us any
information on the cap? Perhaps then someone from the list can identify the
cap and actually give you an answer. There should be something printed on
the cap to tell the manufacturer and some part number or something to work
with.
