Chop the HV windings off a MOT and then wind on a few turns of 14-16awg
until it gets up to 16vac

Hehe,oh. What about a 100watt core?16v 6.25amps.I dont want much
voltage.Just 
enoguh to charge a 450volt 3500uF capacitor.And I know there are better way 
sof doing this.Like winding a highfrequency ferrite type but im just looking

for a quick fix.
