nst protectoin filter

more fried nst,s....the pics i have allways show that if 
using two or more nsts the filter goes in front{before 
coil} and nothing but the safety gap on the back 
side,this is the way i have been setting up every 
time.two 15000 30ma,one 5gal geek group cap, two blown 
rqsg,6inx30 sec 14 turns 1/4 copper tubing pri. i have 
been using the filter on greg garage but i now have most 
of the parts for terrys big filter.the thing is three 
times now i have lost a nst using the filter.it is 
allways the back nst with only the safety gap that 
goes...can i do something to add more protection  thank 
for all the help
