Hi, i used white pvc and it works fine. i took a pill bottle(plastic) and
used it like a funnel so the fan blows across the tubes and not in the
center. i run a 9kv60 ma neon and measured input is around 550 watts.
Adjustment of the gap spacing is time consuming, since the screw is on a
radius. i like mine real well. cul brian f.
