Depends on where exactly you are getting the interference, i.e. which
devices go bonkers?
There shouldn't be too much interference if you just use any el-cheapo
line filter that is rated for the current your SSTC draws. As well as
encasing your driver circuit (which is a good idea in any case, t.ex. to
protect your low voltage circuitry) and grounding the case.
SSTCs are "clean" compared to spark-gap TCs - much less interference with
stuff. TV interference is close to nil. I've a small spark gap TC, 100W,
which kills the TV screen even 15m away. With my small SSTC set to 100W
(via no. of pri turns), the same TV must be <2m close by, and even then it
causes only some minor stripe-effects in the picture.
Radio interference seems to be a bit worse, at least AM radio. There's not
much you could do about this except for rebuilding your SSTC to run at a
much lower frequency, 100kHz or so, which should move out your
"high power SSTC radio transmission" from the vicinity of weak AM
transmitters.
Ok, "build a new SSTC" isn't a good suggestion, eh? ;o)
You _could_ try to make a faraday cage as your coil is small. I.e. make a
cage from chicken wire, place SSTC inside, carefully solder together the
edges of the cage, done. Whether or not this actually helps to solve
the interference problems, I don't know...
