were using a 9V battery. The DC resistance of your
coil has got to be pretty low, and a 9V is going to
run out of energy pretty quickly.>
Tesla called the coil, a coil for electromagnetics. It was very odd, a
compass placed between the two coils i wound caused the compass to spin in
circles as if the polarity was changeing. One coil causes the compass to
align.
