hello all,

i have yet another hypothetical situation i would like
some experts to shed some light on:

What would happen if instead of grounding a Tesla
coil, you had a bottom toroid?

of course the TC would have to be tuned for the
capacitance of both... but would it work or is
grounding needed for some reason?
