VACUUM TUBE TESLA COILS by James and Kenneth Corum, CPG Communications,
Inc., 1987 contains two circuit diagrams of actual oscillators, including
specifications for most major component (see figs 1 & 2). The authors don't
get into physical layout / mechanical considerations, but do provide a 111
entry Reference section. Another VTTC-related title is MODERN TESLA COIL
THEORY by Duane Bylund. And, you might look into certain back issues of
Harry Goldman's TESLA COIL BUILDERS ASSOCIATION NEWS (see
www.tfcbooks-dot-com/special/TCBAnews.htm) referenced in the Corum book.
