Hi Peter,
Between the fins on the front of the magnetron tube
are a couple of donut shaped magnets readily visible
(2+inches OD by 0.5inch thick. Great refridge magnets
for pulling power but ugly.
Inside the sheet metal box where the leads connect
are a couple of small, single layer wound, ferrite
core inductors. Haven't used those yet. Nor have I
done anything with the tube itself. Educational for
the disection experience alone on at least one.
