I like GP03, an electrical grade fiberglass material, available from
McMaster-Carr.  Cheaper, machines and drills well with regular tools,
withstands higher temps than G10 and is plenty strong.  12" x 12" x 3/8"
cost about $10 - part # 8549K312.
