Pulse Caps

For serious (High Power Coiling) a commercial pulse cap is the way to go.I have
4 commercial pulse caps from Plastic Capacitors Inc. 2
<mailto:.1mfd-at-25,000VACRMS>.1mfd-at-25,000VACRMS and 2
<mailto:.05mfd-at-30,000VACRMS>.05mfd-at-30,000VACRMS, they are heavy 30-40lbs. each
and very well built. I do have 200 caps from Richardson Electronics to build a
MMC for use with a Pole Transformer, I havent had the time to assemble and test
it.  I think MMC,s are better suited for coils running 3KVA or less. 
Just my opinion.
