Hi Jeremy,
I don't have the option of rewiring so I've been drawing my 240v power from
the a range outlet (50 amp plug). The breaker is 40 amps so I have plenty of
power available. Sure, it's a bit of hassle unpluging the range and all but
it's not much really. :) Even at 30 amps that's still 7200VA. I suppose one
could tap off one side for 120v for a max of 40 amps. At 30 amps that's
3600VA or 4800VA at 40 amps.
