Sorry, I was in a hurry last post so I didn't take the time to describe my
gap. It isn't an actual vacuum, as in no air present in the gap, but rather
2 .5" copper pipes running into 2 pvc elbows hooked to a T-joint with a 3/8"
gap in between the copper pipes. I'll be using a 2 amp hand vac. I found
laying in the basement to suck air through the pipes, hopefully quenching
the spark. Not like I'm trying to steal his design but this gap is similar
to the "Sucker Gap" found on Steve's High Voltage Website. (
