pole xmfrs for sale at Teslathon

I wanted to take a quick inventory of how many experimenters might be
wanting to buy a pole xmfr at our Sept. 6th Cheesehead Teslathon. All
units are standard 10 kVA at 14.4 kV or 29.9 kV (if Y connected on 3 phase
circuit). Low voltage side is 220/240 VAC and some units have a line
adjustment selector tap on the HV side (we usually remove this feature and
wire them for 14.4 kV output). Cash sales only to experimenters over 21
years of age.
Since our setup site is located off-shop site, I need to get the pigs
hauled into Baraboo on Friday (day before) so they are readily available to
anyone who wants one. At setup site the cost per xmfr is $90.00 and it
will require 2 "hulk-type" people to load it into a van or pickup if you're
loading up at other times. We hope to do all the loading 10 AM to 10:30 AM
with forklift only during these times (you can leave the Hulks at home).

Cheesehead Teslathon this year is located on Lake Street in Baraboo,
WI. Baraboo is located 190 miles NW of Chicago.
Inbound from south out of Chicago, take NW Tollway (I90) to Wis. Dells and
exit 92 (Hwy 12 East). Baraboo is 8 miles south on Hwy 12 East. The Lake
Street site is located directly across from the NECO-Hammond Company at
1100 Lake Street.
If anyone is bringing a larger type coil please try to arrive on Friday for
setup. If arriving on Sat. plan on arrival prior to 10 AM or you will be
tangled up with over 300 show cars. We will all plan teardown on Sunday at
noon. Perhaps a group breakfast Sunday at 10 AM to share stories, etc.
Please email in the next few weeks if you need one because 1-2 days before
Sept. 6th I will be too busy to deal with them.
