primary clip questions
Original poster: "Adam Britt by way of Terry Fritz <teslalist-at-qwest-dot-net>" <beans45601-at-sbcglobal-dot-net>
On my current systen, i am using a 12/120 nst, a .037 UF cap from the geek
group, and 1/4 in copper tubing on my primary. When i run my coil for about
30 seconds, clip on my primary starts to get warm. Normally, i would just
think that i need a bigger clip/wire/all that other stuff. But, i am using
1/4 in tubing on my primary, and all primary connections use 8 guage wire.
The clip i have now is about 2 inches long and 3/4 in wide. do you think
its too small? I have another question, when you start using the flat sheet
for your primary, how do you go about taping the outer tap? Do you use a
clip? if so, what kind?
Thanks
Adam
