These will heat up (maybe to the point of exploding) in a TC tank. I used
utility pfc caps (similar internal construction) in a TC once and they blew
up (actually blasted the bushings out of the can) after a 5 min run. For
single pulse use or filtering they would work, though  paper/oil is lossy
above 400 hz. Not sure what you'd do with single ~5J pulses.
