RE: Javatc and Fantc Update

Thanks for the update Bart.
I think there may be something slightly wrong with the metric input for a
rod-rod (flat edges):
Static Spark Gap Inputs:
2 = Number of Electrodes
2 [cm] = Electrode Diameter
20 [cm] = Total Gap Spacing
Static Spark Gap Outputs:
20 [cm] = Gap Spacing Between Each Electrode
15554 [volts] = Charging Voltage
11839 [volts] = Arc Voltage
49872 [volts] = Voltage Gradient at Electrode
592 [volts/cm] = Arc Voltage per unit
76.1 [%] = Percent Cap Charged at Gap Conduction
14.231 [ms] = Time for Cap to Fully Charge
10.832 [ms] = Time for Cap to Charge to Arc Voltage
92 [BPS] = Breaks Per Second
1.45 [joules] = Effective Cap Energy
392252 [volts] = Terminal Voltage
134 [joule*seconds] = Cap Energy per Second
108.4 [cm] = Static Gap Spark Length
20cm gap to get only about 75% of my ideal firing voltage???
Or am I doing something stupid?
