Shouldn't make too much of a difference with a pig, other than the ballast will be physically a bit bigger than the 60hz version. Also, I think the 60hz core will saturate a bit easier on 50hz, but shouldn't be a problem unless you're trying to run it with a 0-280v variac at max setting.

Yust one short question:
Would a pole pig tolerate if I tried to
runit at 50Hz when it was designed
for 60Hz oeration?
Would I have to derate some specs?
( However, shipping to Europe would
probably cost more that buying a new one
here... )
