Hi Zan,
Cone primaries are "much harder" to make than flat primaries... I hate to
see anyone going to the extra trouble if it really does not matter... Try
to make it an easy flat coil if you can.
Cheers,
Terry

I am building my first Tesla coil. My secondary coil is going to be 4.5"
by 24" on PVC. My plan was to build a flat primary coil with 12 turns of
3/8 over all diameter copper pipe, however it came out cone shaped. Will I
have any problems or will I be ok?
Thanks, Zan
