Do a test.. spray a little on some of your wire, and make sure it won't
dissolve the insulation off. As Dr. R. pointed out, formulations vary, and
you'd hate to have an incompatible one. I DO know for a fact that Krylon
changes their formulations from time to time.
If your insulation is a styrene based one (I don't know if any are), then
the solvent in most of the "spray paints", will dissolve it right off.
