Hi,
It is a BIG split core ferrite core... It "think" it is like
100:1. It has a grounded electrostatic shield between the primary
and secondary windings but insolated so as not to present a shorted winding...

Paul Nicholson mentions a Terry Fritz schematic that shows an
interesting circuit called the "pinger". What is the transformer
labeled CT? (center tap?)
