yeah, and now try to imagine that you didn`t have any "green wire" at all
- naturally, only hot and neutral, and neutral wire is grounded at
power co. welcome to ussr - this is so called "solidly earthed neutral
system". to make things worse, imagine that you fire your coil at your
country-house, where neutral is weakly grounded at the nearest pad
mount transformer - that`s a couple of hundred meters of wires to ground
point, so your woman that cooks dinner at the kitchen would kill you,
if you didn`t kill her first of course % )

p.s.
you guys who build plain ac teslas are lucky - you can just ground
centertap and have no problems, try to do this when you have full-wave
bridge - that`s useless when positive strike zapps positive bus - no
return path, so safety gaps is my last and only hope % )
maybe that`s one of the reasons why Electrum has internal primary : D
