Yep, thought about that looking at Terry's cool pics. But, I think it 
should be tried as is. Top voltage shielding may be fine given the 
size and position to the secondary of the SS balls. Of course, if the 
balls are moved too far out, then a shielding concept would be a 
likely addition.
