Hi All,
Thanks for the replies. One of the caps is *fairly* large, measuring 1 1/2"
in diameter and 4 1/2" in length. It has 10/32 connectors on each end. The
other is smaller, 1 1/4" by 3 3/4" and has no lugs on the end. It looks like
a fuse, so perhaps it was intended to plug into a socket.
Alas and alack, I doubt these are Mica. Is there any somewhat simple way to
test them and see if they would take the abuse of a tube coil? I don't want
to start building a coil around doomed caps, then find out that I don't have
enough room to put "real" caps in place.
