No problem. Glass bottles and NSTs go together well.
12oz (355ml) beer bottles are good for 750-900pF each.
A 6-pack is worth roughly 5nF. A 12-pack will get
you 10nF. These can stand up to any NST, including
the 15kv units. For a "dry" cap, try wrapping the
bottles in kitchen foil. You can stick it on with
spray glue. Just roll the bottle up in foil, then
smooth it down using the back of a big spoon.
I've assembled caps like this as big as 80nF

and gotten satisfactory performance from them. They
are not in the same league as a commercial plastic
film pulse cap, but they are very inexpensive.
