RE: [TCML] Secondary coil form wall thickness



I don't believe that RF losses have ever been shown to occur to a significant degree with any type of plastic secondary form.  It's not like in a capacitor, where the voltage across the dielectric is thousands of volts per mil and dielectric losses become significant.  I think thin-wall secondary tubes are preferred simply because it's lighter.
