I ran this through a modeling program to get:-
(assumes secondary winding starts 1" above the ground plane)
Low frequency inductance (Ldc): 12.26 mH
Effective inductance (Les): 9.34 mH
Effective capacitance (Ces): 10.27 pF
Fundamental resonance: 513.86 kHz
1st overtone (3/4 wave): 1280 kHz
The measured frequency (508) is 1.1% below predicted.
The 742kHz will be the 2nd harmonic of the 370kHz, these are
nothing to do with the coil. Are they still there when the
signal generator is turned off? Is the signal generator
producing sine, square, or triangle waveform?
You should see the 1st overtone if the instruments will go
to above 1300kHz.
