No, I don't thin it --- use it straight from the can. Xylol will thin it if
you need to.
yes, inner spiral of "release agent" on inside of tube that releases tube as
concrete cures.
With a synchro sparkgap, then use something ,like 2.6 x res. value. I run a
small 9" dia disk at 2400 rpm, 6 electrodes, non-synchro, for 240
pulses/sec. Use 1 x 1 x 2.5" tall brass stock with 1/2" tungsten electrodes
for the fixed electrodes. I don't use a safety gap --- really don't need
it.
Hope you can make our Tesla Fest on Sept. 4th. You can see a variety of
small and med size coils up close and running.
