Re: [TCML] Looking for decent LCR meter - ideas?
I pick up a cheapy (50 bucks) LC meter from ebay. Can't remember who made it but I do know it is orange and blue. There was a ton of them listed there at one time.I was pretty amazed at its accuracy.I simply compared its reading to a bunch of inductance coils from old radio sets I had laying around that were of known values.Only thing bad I could say about it is that its not real good on batteries but that may just be the nature of the beast with the smaller portable units. Looking at a non-Tesla project that requires me to measure the inductance of
a number of smallish coils so looking at purchasing a decent LCR meter.
Budget is up to $200 or so.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks!
Dave
